an artist becomes a real tool for care

Luke has passed the 'test of eighth grade with a good seven, after the' summer study accounting: is a wizard with numbers, able to do complicated calculations in mind. But his parents and teachers were afraid that did not exceed the 'consideration, because Luke is autistic: the other hardly speaks and when she heard a noise suddenly gives in outburst. A firecracker, a burglar with the trigger violent reactions, he needs to calm down a whole day. The school is on the main street where he lives: the ambulances to the 'hospital, police sirens are all' order giorno. So one day, after hearing Matteo Setti singing in a musical, I wondered what effect it might have also had his hand on these girls. Matthew, in fact, has an extraordinary voice violin, featuring all 'examination spectrometer from regular sine waves, "soft" like a violin, which makes it very relaxing, unlike the voices of other famous artists, which are instead marked peaks and deep "sharp", capable of inducing stress in the audience. " Matthew has appeared repeatedly in front of tens of Rett girls. With surprising results: the 'blood oxygenation in small increases of more than 10 percent, returning to normal, increases the perfusion blood in the tissues, reduces oxidative stress and heart rate. The girls are relaxing and also reduce the symptoms of the disease, "Increase 's attention and disappear all the time repeated local movements such as rubbing and clapping. The girls, who usually do not speak or communicate, smiles and vocalizations hint "says the doctor. It also happens in children with other forms of autism, but not with any music: we need a tune with certain intervals between the notes and the songs are better sung. The item then must be relaxed (as the voice of the violin, in fact) and serves both the eye contact: the 'live effect is powerful, with more than' a DVD or listening to recorded music live, because children with autistic spectrum disorders often are not interested in front of the screen. Matteo Setti Even if n 'is realized: "All' beginning was hard to sing to girls, because they did not communicate in any way. Then I realized that the key was looking into the eyes, and we managed to establish contact. " Music can thus become a means to get better, but also allow drivers to express their emotions. E c 'and' other 'music momentarily decreases oxidative stress of Rett patients, so we wondered how we could reduce it longer and, thinking strange predilection for fish of many Rett girls, we have tried to administer loro due acidi grassi omega-tre ogni giorno - prosegue De Felice -. Setti (protagonista di musical come «Notre Dame de Paris» e «Casanova, amori e inganni a Venezia») ha una voce «violino», caratterizzata that is, to 'spectrometric analysis, by regular sine waves, "soft" as those of a violin, of course, making it very relaxing. Other voices of famous singers, with triangular sharp peaks, deep, loose, instead of inducing stress in the listener and are defined in the parlance, "cute." Elena Meli

Music therapy as a therapy for people affected by stroke

Listen to good music, beyond what established by scientific research, makes us good or better to say, makes us feel good about this none of us have doubts. A recent study seems, however, also support a new hypothesis: music improves cerebral circulation, particularly in those suffering as a result of a stroke.
According to this research
RAS \u200b\u200btechnique has greatly improved arm movements. "This study shows encouraging results for the effects of music therapy in stroke patients," says Joke Bradt of the Arts and Quality of Life Research Center at Temple University in Philadelphia.
"Like most of the studies that we examined, including methods used here were based on rhythm. We suggest, therefore, that the pace can be a primary factor in music therapy, "added Bradt.
For patients with brain injuries were also used other techniques of music therapy, including listening to music live recordings. These seem to be able to improve the language, reduce pain and change (for better) behavior. It should be noted that most of the results were positive but studies are still limited to a few people.
"Several studies have analyzed had less than 20 participants. It provides, for the future, using a greater number of participants to enable sound recommendations for clinical practice, "concludes Bradt.
